These systems enable thermal analysis under realistic industrial and research conditions, making them ideal for studying pressure-dependent phenomena such as sorption, decomposition, phase transitions, and chemical reactions. Linseis high-pressure analyzers support key techniques including DSC, TGA, STA (TG-DSC/DTA) and high-pressure dilatometry, covering applications from hydrogen technology to biomass gasification and chemical process optimization.

High-pressure thermal analysis is of critical importance in renewable energy research, particularly for hydrogen storage, where storage materials (e.g. metal hydrides) must be evaluated as a function of pressure, temperature, and gas atmosphere. Similarly, these systems allow simulation of industrial processes such as biomass gasification, where pressure, temperature, and gas composition directly influence syngas production.
