The Apps-XM Series is a family of application-specific electrochemical instruments built on the proven ModuLab XM platform. Each system is pre-configured with optimized combinations of potentiostat/galvanostat, frequency response analyzer (FRA), auxiliary voltage inputs, and optional current or voltage boosters, delivering maximum performance for targeted research applications.
Designed to occupy minimal bench space, Apps-XM instruments provide the same measurement accuracy and software environment as fully configurable ModuLab XM systems, while offering a simplified, application-focused solution. All models operate within XM-Studio software and support the full range of advanced AC impedance techniques, including single-sine, multisine, harmonic, intermodulation, and FFT-based EIS, achieving highly repeatable sub-100 µΩ measurements.

EnergyLab XM is an application-specific XM instrument designed for battery, fuel cell, and supercapacitor research. It combines a reference-grade potentiostat/galvanostat, high-accuracy FRA, auxiliary voltage channels, and internal current boosting to deliver exceptional sensitivity for low-impedance and high-current energy devices.
EnergyLab XM supports advanced testing of lithium-ion, alkaline, coin cells (2032), cylindrical cells (18650), and next-generation low-impedance cells. External current boosters up to ±100 A can be integrated seamlessly, enabling high-rate charge/discharge and ultra-low impedance measurements.
