LINSEIS Transient Hot Bridge
The Transient Hot Bridge (THB) by Linseis is a high-precision thermal analysis instrument that simultaneously measures thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat capacity within just a few minutes.
Using the proven Transient Hot Bridge method, the THB delivers absolute measurement values with an accuracy comparable to, and in many cases exceeding, conventional guarded hot plate and Laser Flash techniques. The system is extremely versatile and can be used with bulk solids, plates, powders, gels, pastes, and liquids, without complex sample preparation.
For solid samples, preparation is remarkably simple: only one flat contact surface on each of two sample halves is required for sensor placement. Measurements are non-destructive, fast, and highly reproducible. Calibration is straightforward and does not need to be performed before every measurement, significantly reducing setup time and operator dependency.
Thanks to its fully automated, one-button operation, the THB requires no specialist training, eliminates errors caused by incorrect parameter input, and ensures consistent, user-independent results. Its compact design and compliance with international standards make it an ideal solution for both research laboratories and industrial quality control environments.
